Backpack!

I caved and bought Sylvie a backpack like all the other kiddies at her "school". Of course, I limited her choices between Hello Kitty and a pink butterfly one. I pretended the Dora & SquareBob ones didn't exist (heehee)
The hat was her addition-her nod to a Little Bear episode we watched earlier. I'll spare you the details!

ok-another missive for all the diehard Sylvie fans:

she has been anti-diaper for awhile, now. Basic tantrum behavior, pulling on the diaper, etc. SO much fun for us. So yesterday we let her keep it off (b/c that's what you are supposed to do, right? give in to tantrums? ha) as long as she pee-peed in the potty seat. Lo and behold she did! woowoo. I am all for low pressure toilet training so, hey-if she "trains" herself. more power to her.
