ok-we eat these soy faux chicken things Andrew calls "fuggets" (get it-faux nuggets?). I ate this one today but not before I captured its nuggety beauty.

Ride Free...

Our trip to Austin

our little hippie...
asleep on the way & dancing outside of kerbey lane cafe (an awesome place)

We were at the tail end of SXSW-went to Waterloo records to peruse & buy and got to hear some live music from next door. Sylvie actually did a sort of hippie dance. She dug it!

We didn't get to go to the kick-ass children's museum BUT we did catch crazy lady storytime at Bookpeople bookstore (probably the best bookstore I have been to, ever-and y'all know my thing about books & bookstores).

And ate at evil Cheesecake Factory. We just wanted to know why the lines were always so long! To be fair, the food was tasty. Its just the ambiance-it's like a Tuscan air hangar! And not at all child friendly (the snobby mama comes out)!

Can't remember what else we did...um, I'm sure we drove around a bunch-I like to pretend I might live there someday.

a lovely day at the Arboretum

This was weeks ago, and I have not posted these pictures, yet! (Sorry Grama J!) props to Dada A for the pictures (I was at home, probably asleep!)

swingin'

a short lived love of the swing. Our neighbor Travis got her interested for one whole day. I had to swing her for hours (it seemed like hours, anyway). Now I push her once and she says/signs "done".
sigh.

We have had colds so my energy is zilch.
Here's an old pic as a placeholder.

Sylvie in the hood

Trolley!

We went on the McKinney Ave trolley with the playgroup peeps. It was awesome-I felt tlike I actually lived in a city. The kids liked it-Sylvie just sat on my lap, chillin'
Here a few of the fellow "in the loop"-ers...

a typical day

happy, sad, happy, sad, screaming!, laughing, happy, happy.
